The third match of PSL season 3 was played between Multan Sultans (MS) and Lahore Qalandars (LQ) in which Sultans won the match by 43 runs. Multan Sultans is a new team of PSL. Sultans won their both of the matches their performance is an alarming sign for other teams.
The most interesting thing was that, the batsmen who performed from Sultans side are Kumar Sangakkara, Ahmed Shehzad and Shoaib Malik and from the bowling side Junaid Khan did his hat-trick.
Lahore Qalandars won the toss and choose to bowl first. Sultans opener Sangakkara scored 63 runs, Captain Shoaib Malik scored 48 runs and Ahmed Shehzad scored 38 runs. Sultans total was 179.
LQ did a much hard work to acheive the target set by MS but their team could only reach 136 runs. LQ’s opener Fakhar Zaman scored 49 and Sohail Akhtar scored 21 runs. After that Sunil Narain and Umar Akmal tried to lift their team but both of them gone out. Umar Akmal scored 31 runs and Narain could only get 26 runs.
Imran Tahir got the man of the match trophy. As you can see he signed the ball for a fan.
