Well everyone is excited about 3rd edition of Pakistan Super League (PSL). Most challenging yet exciting factor about the third edition of PSL will be that there will be six teams participating in the tournament to lift the trophy instead of five was in the previous two editions.

The introduction of a new team in this league means the subsequent addition of more stars into the PSL family. Playoffs of the tournament will be played in Lahore and the grand finale will be held in Karachi. These new changes in PSL 3 are the key factors of the fan’s excitement.

Karachi Kings, Islamabad United, Lahore Qalandars, Quetta Gladiators, Peshawar Zalmi and Multan Sultans are total 6 teams which will be the part of this brilliant league.

So lets talk about which team have more chances to win this time. If we talk about Karachi King’s team, they have plenty of talent but take a look at their previous record. Although they have Muhammad Amir, Eoin Morgan, Skipper Imad Wasim and the boom boom Shahid Afridi and many more but according to their earlier record it doesn’t look they can do something different. Same is the case with Lahore Qalandars. They also have many big names in their squad but their performance in first two editions was absolutely worst then any other team. But hope so this time these teams would be able to do something different to watch.

Islamabad United is of course one of the best team in PSL. They had also won PSL’s first edition. Peshawar Zalmi defied odds to defeat the Quetta Gladiators in the final of the second edition of the PSL to win the title.

According to the odds released by the bookmakers around the world, the Peshawar Zalmi start off as favourites to win the title this season, but the other teams aren’t too far behind.

Interesting thing to note here is that the new-comers Multan Sultans are as long as 6/1 to win the title. Multan’s foreign players combo which includes Kieron Pollard, Kumar Sangakara, and Imran Tahir. This three-pack under the mentor-ship of Wasim Akram obviously makes a cricket team all on its own.

The addition of 6th team to the tournament has not only increased the number of teams in the tournament, but it also means you have more chances to get your predictions correct.
