Zilhaj moon sighted, Eid ul Adha on August 22

The Islamic month of Zilhaj will commence on August 13. In Saudi Arabia, Haj will be observed on 20th August.

Muslims across the Pakistan celebrate the annual festival of Eid ul Adha. The tradition of Eid ul Adha unites all Muslims who can afford a sacrifice to do so. To this end, Muslims across the country purchase livestock such as goats, cows, buffalo, sheep and camels to sacrifice to commemorate Prophet Ibraham’s sacrifice.
