The famous Televangelist, TV host and politician Dr Amir Liaquat Hussain has now joined the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) at news conference in Karachi.
PTI leader Imran Ismail already said it on Saturday that “He (Mr Hussain) would formally announce joining the PTI on Monday in a press conference”.
PTI Chairman, Imran Khan while addressing to the press conference welcomed Amir Liaquat and said “We welcome Amir into the party, these are the last six months before the elections and we want people to join our political campaign”.
When a question asked to Amir Liaquat about the remarks he had made previously about PTI, Imran khan replied “I believe that people change for the better. As long as people are trying to be better than before each day, they should not be questioned about the things they said in the past”.
Speaking on the event, Amir thanked Imran Khan for all of his support and said that he will not join any other party in future, PTI is the last party he’ll ever join. Previously Amir Liaquat was affiliated with MQM party and had been expelled for violating some party policies.
