Pakistan defeated New Zealand by 18 runs in the third T20 played on Sunday, 28 Jan 2018. Pakistan is the first ever Asian cricket team who win the T20 series from New Zealand in their home ground. The matched was played at the Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui.
The Green Shirts won the toss and elected to bat first.
Pakistan scored decent 181 with the loss of six wickets.Opener Fakhar Zaman was Pakistan’s top-scorer with 46 runs off just 36 ball. In reply, New Zealand were uncharacteristically cautious, scored 163 with the loss of six wickets and unfortunately cant win the match .
The hosts was first hit down when captain Kane Williamson was sent packing by Faheem Ashraf.
This Victory leads the Pakistan to the top in the T20 International ranking.

This victory brighten the name Pakistan in the list and Pakistan become the top in T20 list with 126 point. New Zealand is the second.
Prior this series Pakistan was defeated badly by the host in ODI with 5-0 in five matches series.
