Quetta: Hazara’s Hunger Strike enters Second Day

Hazara Community, is angry on the killing of their two persons on Saturday. Hazara Community have staged a protest in Quetta against these unabated killings.

The protesters criticized the Law Enforcement Agencies (LEAs) for their failure and inaction to prevent the genocide of Hazara Community.

The Hazara community demanded that Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa should meet the widows of the deceased persons.

Jalila Haider, stated that the hunger strike would continue until the Hazara Community gets adequate security.

Meanwhile, Balochistan Shia Conference had a protest rally at Shahuda Chouk, Alamdar road.

“The people of Balochistan do not want roti, kapra and makaan; all we want is the right to life,” former PPP lawmaker Nasir Shah told the gathering attended by members of  Balochistan National Party, Jamhuri Watan Party, Hazara Democratic Party and others.

“Peace is destroyed when the state becomes weak,” he said, criticizing the “wrong policies” which have lead to these circumstances.

Zair Agha, another speaker at the gathering, said: “Our neighbourhoods have been turned into orphanages. Our blood has become cheaper than water.”

The protests started after the killing of two members of Hazara Community.
