The Toyota has equipped 2019 Corolla Hatchback with Toyota Safety Sense (TSS) safety suite. Toyota lovers are excited to buy 2019 Corolla Hatchback. A good news is that the 2019 Corolla Hatchback can now detect pedestrians even in dim/low light. The car can also detect riders but the TSS 2.0 is mapped in such a way that Corolla Hatchback 2019 can only detect riders in daylight. According to Toyota’s expert Adam Lovelady this is because, “Bikes come in different sizes and shapes than people”.

“There’s variety in how tall or short or wide the bike could be,” Lovelady said. “Are we talking about a BMX bike or a road bike? There is so much variety that it makes it harder for the system to distinguish those features. Dense material, less dense material, it’s moving around, and that’s hard for the system to determine what it is exactly.”
For the time being Toyota users have to keep themselves limited to TSS 2.0. Lovelady said the Corolla Hatchback users have to wait for next version of TSS, this is not the end this a start to innovation. Toyota is looking forward to introduce autonomous driving cars.
