We have seen that last year end wasn’t a good one for Apple but so does this year. These bugs has challenged IPhone security really badly. In latest version of IOS a new bug is discovered which is due to sending character to another user. This bug will crash an IPhone and block access to the Messages app in iOS, Gmail and Twitter.

This bug itself involve in sending an indian language(Teluga) character to devices, and Apple’s iOS Springboard will crash one the other person has received the message. You won’t be able to open messages as the Springboard will be failing to load the character so only way to get back to your messages is to ask a friend to send you a message and then try to delete the thread that contained the bad character.

This bug is only on iMessages and Whatsapp, unless you have web access. Telegram and Skype are saved from this bug. This bug is only found in iOS 11.2.5 so iOS 11.3 is safe from this bug.

This is not the first time iPhone is having a problem with his product. In 2015 a tiny string of text could disable in iMessages. Not much after that next year a 5-secound video could crash iPhone. Last month a single link was found to be able to freeze the iPhone.

As Apple has faced many problems until now so it’s planning to focus on reliability and performance in iOS 12 over new features. We hope its users wouldn’t face anymore problem.
