Russia Smashes Saudi Arabia to launch World Cup in style

Russia beats Saudia Arabia by 5-0 in launching match of FIFA World Cup 2018. Russian President Vladimir Putin was there to support his team.

Putin welcomed all guests in Luzhniki Stadium, by saying “football unites the whole world”.

Denis Cheryshev did two goals for his team. Iury Gazinsky was the man who headed in front for 12th minute before Cheryshev’s attack.

Artem Dzyuba, did 3-0 for his team when there were 20 minutes remaining before a the goal of Cheryshev.

Russian Team’s victory, the team on 70th rank in the world, was a hope for Russian people that their team is capable of playing against Uruguay and Egypt.

“There are no words to express what I’m feeling right now. I’m happy we won and happy I could help my team,” said Cheryshev, today’s man of the match.

Russia is spending more than $12 Billion on hosting FIFA World Cup 2018. FIFA World Cup 2018 is one of the important event for Russia after 1980s Moscow Summer Olympics.
