West Indies to play T20 series in Pakistan

As Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Najam Sethi had promised that Cricket will be back in Pakistan, and yes he did it!

Najam Sethi announced on Sunday that West Indies cricket board has been agreed to play T20 series in Pakistan. While addressing to Media he further said he was working day and night for this agreement and have just confirmed to play these three matches.

Najam Sethi also announced it on his twitter account and said “Good news! West Indies have agreed to play 3 T20 matches in KARACHI on 1,2 and 4th April. CM Sindh is FULLY supporting this PCB initiative”.

Pakistan Super League proved to be a starting point for this all, and is a statement that Pakistan can host matches and it will. PSL’s final will also held in Karachi this time so it is a good initiative.

Earlier both Boards were in talk with each other but West Indies board kept delaying the deal due to some security reasons. But talking about security perspective Najam Sethi said that “They will stay for another week after PSL final and work for the security of West Indies series,”.
