KARACHI: A firing incident occurred last night near the Nagan Chowrangi in which one person died, the deceased was the driver of a ride hailing company Uber.
According to the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Dr Rizwan, the incident does not appear to be a robbery but a case of personal enmity as the one who opened the fire was inside the car.

The police officer said that the deceased was identified as Shahnawaz, aged 50, who was working as Uber’s driver. A nine-millimetre (9 mm) pistol was used to kill him and was shot three times.
He added that the deceased was an ex-employee of the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA).
