Islamabad: People from tribal areas of Pakistan are gathered in the capital city Islamabad, are demanding the arrest of former SSP Rao Anwar, the one who is accused of killing Naqeebullah Mehsud in a fake encounter.
Demands by Protesters:
The demands of protesters are as below:
- Arrest of Rao Anwar and the other police officials who are involved in killing of Naqeebullah.
- Landmines should be removed from FATA.
- Recovery of missing persons.
- Stop imposing curfews in FATA.
The protesters are sitting in front of the National Press Club Islamabad, where they are recording their demonstration against the killing of Naqeebullah. Different banners are displayed demanding “Justice for Naqeeb”.
